Ingredients
- 6 thick slices of rustic bread
- 1 stick of softened unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons of English Mustard
- 14 ounces of shredded Cathedral Vintage Cheddar Cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat the broiler to high.
- Place the bread on a sheet tray and spread butter on both sides of each slice of bread.
- Place on the bottom rack of the oven and toast the bread on each side for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove the tray and evenly spread on the mustard and then generously sprinkle the cheese on each slice of toast.
- Broil in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly brown.
- Season with salt and pepper and add on additional garnish of chopped fresh parsley or chives.
